Field archaeologists found this possibly Iron Age site in the 1960s. It lies in Old Pasture above Conistone village. The site comprises of a well-defined hut circle incorporated into the remains of a stone walled fold. Two banked enclosures join on to it and there is a small field system nearby which may be contemporary. The hut is built of limestone rubble and boulders and measures 6 metres in diameter between the wall centres.
