Copper or copper alloy cockfighting trophy of 18th century date now on display with a pair of cockfighting spurs in the Upper Wharfedale Museum, Grassington. Reputed to be the locally disputed prize that started off the chain of events that led to the murder of Dr Petty by Grassington’s blacksmith Tom Lee.
