Dibble’s Bridge liability markers
Description

Dibble’s Bridge liability marker MYD36601 (c) YDNPA, 2023
A pair of flat-faced stones either side of the bridge with crosses carved into them showing where responsibility for maintenance of the bridge and its carriageway began and ended. The stones were once painted white up to the bottom of the cross with the cross itself picked out in black. Probably erected by West Riding County Council in the late 19th century.
