Clapham Market Cross MYD3651 (c) YDNPA, 2023

A millstone grit cross comprising of a plinth of three steps and a socket stone. Possibly 14th century. The shaft and ornamental cross head were added in 1897.

Location

Park in the National Park car park (charge). From entrance to car park turn left.The cross is about 75 metres down the road on the right.
